When the tap water with which we prepare coffee is too hard, the presence of a high concentration of calcium and magnesium ions quickly causes limestone deposits and encrustations which alter the flavor of the coffee and, over time, risk clogging the pipes and cause the machine to malfunction.
Le special ion exchange resins contained in WATERLIGHT envelopes regulate the hardness of the water on optimal values, absorbing the substances responsible for limescale formation. In this way yes slows down the formation of limestone deposits and at the same time yes prevents the proliferation of bacteria during periods when the machine is parked.

- Remove the bag from the plastic wrap.
- Wet the bag under running water for a few seconds.
- Place the bag in the machine tank and fill it with tap water.
- Wait overnight before using the machine. It is advisable to always top up the water tank in the evening to allow a minimum action time.
- Replace the bag at most every 3 months, disposing of the used one in undifferentiated waste collection.
The yield of the product depends on the hardness of the water to be treated.
