RIO is a descaling liquid designed for remove limescale quickly and effectively from your coffee machine, without leaving odors or residues. Tap water contains calcium and magnesium salts which, due to the high temperature, form inevitable limestone deposits, clogging the pipes and quickly causing malfunction and therefore blocking of the machine.

Regular use of RIO guarantees complete cleaning of the entire water circuit, ensuring optimal machine performance and keeping the original aroma of the coffee intact.

Thanks to its formula based on lactic acid of natural origin, RIO also guarantees rapid removal of scale from kettles, humidifiers and vaporizers.

  1. Remove any filters from the tank.
  2. Pour a dose of RIO (50 ml) and approximately 300/400 ml of water into the tank.
  3. Press the dispenser button or start the descaling program, letting the solution flow out of the dispensing spout until the tank is empty.
  4. Rinse the tank with running water, fill it again and let the water flow until the tank is empty.

For removable parts: Pour a dose of RIO (50 ml) into a container, add 300/400 ml of water and immerse the parts to be cleaned for approximately 30 minutes. Then rinse with plenty of running water.

Remove any contact lenses if it is easy to do so. Continue rinsing. Contact a doctor immediately. Remove all contaminated clothing and wash it before wearing it again. Contents: L-(+)-lactic acid
